OK I think I just found a new favorite website of mine. It’s called Quanta Magazine and it covers physics, mathematics, biology, and computer science.

The article that pointed me in this direction was “A Biochemist’s View of Life’s Origin Reframes Cancer and Aging “. It came by way of one of those suggested links you get when you open a new tab in Firefox.

The biochemist is called Nick Lane and he has a down-to-earth way of framing questions and suggesting alternate possibilities.

I really like the thought that one person working in one field is asking questions that perhaps belong in another field. Challenging what is ordinarily accepted as a norm is something always worth doing and interesting to read.
